During your initial evaluation, we will gain a full history of your current condition and do a full functional assessment. We will work with you to develop an individualized plan of care complete with home exercise program.

Please wear comfortable clothing that will allow your therapist to analyze the biomechanics of different areas of your body. Shorts, Yoga pants, or sweatpants are appropriate for your lower body. If you seeing us for shoulder, upper back or neck pain it can be helpful to wear a t-shirt or tank top.
Most physical therapy treatments are about 1 hour in duration. The initial visit will probably be slightly over an hour.
My insurance has strict limits on how many physical therapy visits I’m allowed each year, so what types of options do I have when my insurance benefits are maxed?
A large percentage of our practice is performed on a “cash pay” basis. Moreover, we will work with you specifically by providing a thorough “home exercise program” with appropriate “upgrades” to allow you to do much of the work on your own.
California is one of the few states requiring a prescription from your physician in order for you to use your insurance for physical therapy treatments. However, Longevity Physical Therapy offers FREE 15 minute injury screens for those patients who would like our opinion regarding their injury or to see how we would address a particular injury or pain. These injury screens do not require a prescription from a physician.
