Kristen Lopez, PT, DPT, CAFS, CSCS

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Kristen is a native San Diegan and is glad to return to her roots after college at UC Davis and receiving her DPT from Cal State Long Beach. Kristen gets enjoyment from being outdoors. Specifically, she has a passion for hiking, beaching and snowboarding. She also has experience in running, weight-lifting and collegiate sports including NCAA Field Hockey. She was co-captain of the team at UC Davis. She draws on her experience from her active lifestyle to encourage patients to reach their own personal physical potential.

Kristen learns from each patient, every day. Their experiences help her become a better therapist. She continues to seek out learning experiences to bring the most innovative, excellent and effective care to her patients. Kristen was introduced to the idea of Applied Functional Science while working on her doctorate and is passionate about providing functional service to patients. Her background allows her to bring in multiple elements to patient treatment, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and strengthening/conditioning. Kristen makes her physical therapy service personal by getting to know each person she works with to identify their goals for therapy. She works to help each patient reach their own unique potential. Kristen is also fluent in Spanish and is happy to work with our Spanish speaking patients.
