I can't express enough how thankful I am for Jimmy's expertise and care during my treatment for vestibular issues. From the very first session, he demonstrated incredible knowledge and professionalism, immediately putting me at ease with his clear explanation of my condition and the plan for recovery.Jimmy took the time to thoroughly assess my symptoms and tailored each session to address my specific needs. His treatments were not only effective but also focused on building my confidence in regaining balance and stability. Thanks to his patience, encouragement, and targeted techniques, I saw significant improvements in both my physical and mental well-being.What stands out most about Jimmy is his genuine commitment to his patients. He consistently went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and progressing. I truly felt like he cared about my recovery and took every step necessary to help me get back to my daily activities with confidence. If you're dealing with vestibular issues, I highly recommend Jimmy. His expertise, compassion, and dedication to his craft are unparalleled, and I’m so grateful for everything he’s done to help me on my journey to recovery!
Casey's Longevity has been a very rewarding experience for me. Having suffered from distinct physical, localized disfunction for a number of years, Casey has been able to construct a program that targets the issues and areas of this disfunction, muscle strain, and recurring pain. It has really created a way forward for me towards greater health as well as muscle freedom and strength. The tools (exercises, etc.) creating this progress are wholly new, and a real source of hope.
Everyone is very knowledgeable and caring. Casey at the San Diego location has helped me with vertigo and my back. He is great.
Rachel Mallory is a superb physical therapist at Longevity. Courteous, knowledgeable and professional.5 Stars.
I have had great experiences working with Jimmy Vu and Corey Esquivias for shoulder, knee, and back issues. They both did a great job adapting the exercises to the intensity I was looking for and helped tailor the length of daily practice to what I found feasible for my schedule. I highly recommend working with them!
I had a great experience at Longevity Physical Therapy! The entire team is professional, knowledgeable, and truly committed to helping their patients recover and build strength. My physical therapist, Jimmy Vu, was fantastic—he took the time to understand my needs, created a personalized treatment plan, and provided clear guidance throughout my recovery. Thanks to his expertise and support, my shoulder injury has healed. I highly recommend Longevity PT for anyone looking for skilled and compassionate care!
Jimmy was very knowledgeable of my type of physical injury and helped with both my recovery and prevention of future injury.
Best experience here. Professional trainers, and great environment.
My Dr referred me to Longevity for Sciatica pain which was daily and would wake me up almost every night and I was taking meditation each evening. Since starting at longevity and working with Jimmy, who is amazing, the pain has not disappeared fully but the pain is no longer waking me up at night, no longer a daily issue and my Advil is minimal. I highly recommend if yiu are in need for physical therapy to check out Longevity and ask for Jimmy…
This is one of the best PT providers I’ve experienced. The staff was friendly and the place was clean and very modern. I worked with Thomas for about 6 months after biceps surgery and he was extremely knowledgeable and always addressed any concerns I had during the process. I’ve had physical therapy in the past for injuries but this is by far the best care I’ve received from any PT provider. I would recommend Longevity physical therapy to anyone looking for professional and competent care.
I came to Longevity after a few months of unsuccessfully trying to nurse a rolled ankle on my own. At my first appointment, my PT Thomas quickly went to work diagnosing the issue - palpating my ankle and asking me guiding questions to figure out exactly what was going wrong. He then got me set up on a series of exercises and stretches that immediately got my ankle feeling less painful and more structurally stable.Over the course of the next few weeks, we built upon the initial set of exercises to not only improve the condition of the ankle itself, but to optimize and strengthen my entire lower body in an effort to address root imbalances that had led to my initial injury. After less than 2 months of therapy, I'm happy to report that not only is my ankle healed, but the additional lower body work we did actually has me running faster and feeling better than I was before the injury occurred.I can't thank Thomas enough for the work he did to get me (literally) back on my feet. Coming in, I was nervous that it had been too long since the injury to make significant improvements and that I'd have to live with a sore/unstable ankle for the rest of my life. Thomas quickly put those fears to bed. Through his methodical approach and his patient answer to my dozens of questions, we were able to get me running again at full strength in no time at all.I highly recommend Longevity to anyone looking to recover quickly from an injury. They're knowledgable and professional, and the care they provide is hyper-personalized to your exact situation. It was everything I needed to heal up and get back to feeling strong and pain-free. Thanks again, Thomas! 🙂
Working with Jimmy Vu at Longevity PT is a game changer. He’s my 3rd PT in the space of a year and 2 months, after a compression fracture in my spine when I fell backwards in my garage. I’m 77 and a fan of Jimmy because he focuses on every small muscle movement and strength to make me stronger while vastly improving my balance. I can hold groceries in each hand while walking up my stairs, my walking endurance has improved and even getting in and out of the car and attic is much more steady. I stand taller and walk with confidence now.
I highly recommend Jimmy Vu’s knowledge and experience if you are looking for a TMJ physical therapist in San Diego area.
Athletic Male, early 30’s. Suffered lower right back strain/sprain from deadlifting in the gym. I was recommended longevity through resources at a local running club. I started physical therapy less than 1 week from initial injury. Dr. Corey Esquivias performed my initial evaluation and developed my recovery program. Corey was able to identify weak points in my body and developed a program to increase my mobility, flexibility, and core strength. Schedule was 2 sessions per week for 3 weeks then once a week for 2 weeks (5 weeks total). I did not have to attend any follow up sessions. The knowledge and expertise of Corey provided was critical to my recovery. It is important to note that you must do the work outside of therapy to reap any of the benefits and show improvement at each session. The therapy will only guide you to recovery, not do it for you. Overall, I throughout enjoyed working with Corey at Longevity, the amenities were well equipped and clean, and all staff were professional and personable.
Hi in my 2 year with longevite therapyJimmy is now my 4th therapistHi helped me the most in my revoveryAdressing. and solving the problem withGreat sucessethank you jimmy 👌🤙
Been great in my labrum repair recovery! Jimmy has been great at keeping me consistent and progressing so I can get to 100% as fast as possible.
Got ACL surgery about a year ago, LPT has been great at getting me back to strength. It’s also close to campus which makes it so easy and convenient to get to.
I was recommended to Longevity Physical Therapy by my orthopedic office for my shoulder issue. Jimmy has been able to help me with my range of motion and I am able to lift my arm again. I enjoy working with Jimmy. Also Joanna and Sierra at the front desk are friendly and extremely helpful. I wish I had found Longevity for my prior physical therapy referrals!
I have been working with Jimmy for a couple months now. He is helping me with knee pain that I experienced after walking for a half hour or more. He has helped me activate my glutes, I can feel I’m stronger, and I’ve already noticed that my walking pace has improved greatly. And the most important thing, is that the pain in the knee is almost gone.
Longevity has a very friendly atmosphere because of the receptionists, as well as the therapists. It is not intimidating for us older clients, in need of relief from physical ailments. My therapist is Jimmy Vu and, after two months, I believe now that my occasional balance problem can be fixed. I don’t get dizzy anymore when I get up in the morning and I feel more assured walking.Thank you, Jimmy and Longevity!Marika
Great place. Jimmy is great, great demeanor and very informative. I like the explanations and I like that the exercises are challenging. I feel like I make good progress here.
I can't say enough great things about Longevity and the incredible team here! I came in struggling with severe dizziness and balance issues due to vestibular issues, and they really go the extra mile to help. The therapists are not only highly knowledgeable but also incredibly patient, compassionate, and dedicated to helping their patients recover. They took the time to explain everything in detail, tailored my treatment plan to my specific needs, and continuously adjusted exercises to ensure I was progressing safely and effectively. They have a great online portal that helps explain exercises to do at home and the front desk is extremely friendly and helpful! Thanks to their expertise and encouragement, I’ve seen a huge improvement in my balance, coordination, and overall confidence. What once felt like a daily struggle is now manageable, and I am beyond grateful for the care I received.
I've been going here for the past few months for a muscular shoulder injury and I've seen just about everyone here. That being said, the whole team at this location is superb and really knows their stuff. Each one has their own methods of teaching which are very effective. Jimmy, whom I've seen most has been an amazing therapist and consultant. He's very attentive and is quick to adapt to any issues I have with any of the movements. Thanks Team!
Additional strength training was needed when my tennis team was invited to the National championship tournament for my age group. I had to be able to sustain many hours of play over 3 days. Alexa Hadinoto and Jimmy Vu worked with me to get the strength needed for the tournament. I wouldn't have been able to compete without their knowledge, assistance and professionalism. And they are fun to work with is a bonus. For I've been seeing Jimmy Vu for a strained hamstring. He's helping me get back on the court with a number of exercises that are really addressing my strength and flexibility issues. Always challenging, fun, and effective.
I am a 76 YO males, who was diagnosed with positional vertigo in November, and the Dizzy Doctor (Dr. Ian Purcel) sent me to Longevity Physical Therapy. When I first got to Longevity, I was assigned a PT, Thomas Stearns. His assessment involved determining what activities triggered the positional vertigo, and then started assigning me "homework" to exercise my vestibular system to build up tolerances to the trigger points. As I progressed, he would change exercises to find different, more advanced positional exercises that would trigger the vertigo, and then I would do the homework to build the tolerance of how long I could do the exercise before the vertigo would occur. Over a period of about 7 weeks, I found the instances of the vertigo decreased, and the tolerance to onset decreased so significantly, that I am now able to resume all of my normal activities. I also know what to do if I find an activity that brings on an instance of the vertigo.Thomas Stearns was an excellent therapist, in that he understood vertigo, and worked with me to explain the vestibular system and how we were going to work to desensitize it to bringing on episodes of vertigo.I would highly recommend Longevity PT as an amazing PT facility, , and specifically Thomas Stearns, that works with unique situations, and treats all patients with dignity and respect.
My visit to Longevity physical therapy was short, though I could see why they had so many five-star reviews. The receptionist, Joanna and Sierra were professional, kind, and very helpful!Corey was my Doctor of physical therapy and also was very professional, courteous, and and very helpful! Just one week week in and the exercises that he gave me were already helping my hips!Unfortunately, I had to stop for personal reasons, though if I'm able to return to physical therapy, this is the place! Thank you for what you do!
Thank you Longevity for helping me to recover from a knee sprain. Exercises are challenging (especially with Jimmy Vu), so I can feel and see the progress. Looking forward to getting back to cycling, hiking, and tennis.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Jimmy Voo for the past two years, and I can’t recommend him highly enough. Throughout our time together, he has helped me address issues with my knee, hip, and shoulders, significantly alleviating my pain and improving my mobility. His passion for his craft is evident in every session, and it’s clear that he genuinely cares about his clients’ well-being. Beyond his expertise, I’ve always appreciated our conversations, which make each session both productive and enjoyable. I’m truly grateful to have had him as my physical therapist over the years!
Staff was always pleasant, helpful and available. My therapist was most knowledgeable and patient with me.The take home instructions were explained well, allowing me to continue exercises between appointments. I found, what I refer to as bedside manner, noteworthy. I most definitely will refer Longevity if you are in need of physical therapy. This was a positive experience for me. Sharon
Jimmy and Alexa are amazing! They are very knowledgeable and, most importantly, care. Can’t say enough good things about them.
Alexa was sensitive and caring in her therapy with me. I have full confidence in her work.
Incredible therapist. Very professional, yet kind and concerned about my individual needs. Great personality! Made exercise fun!
I started having pain in my replaced hip while hiking. Thomas Stearns identified my weak muscles and helped me with exercises to strengthen them. I'm back to hiking with no pain.
I can honestly say best move to do physical therapy verses surgery. The tools I have been taught to move forward on my own are invaluable. I'm stronger & will continue to get better and learned how to live with my injury. I appreciate the therapists who have helped me in this journey in living with a disability.
Jimmy is awesome and has helped me with a back problem I had been battling for a year. Highly recommend this place!
Longevity Physical TherapyI have been to multiple physical therapists. I have had two hips replaced and one knee replacement, so I know a good therapist from a bad. Corey Esquivias at Longevity Physical Therapy has been the best one. This time around my problem was a sore/strained shoulder muscle and after just six sessions I have regained motion and strength in the problem shoulder. My only regret is I did not have Corey for my other problems.
Casey is great. Very knowledgeable about physical therapy, and very personable to interact with. He makes a big difference.
My therapist, Jimmy Vu is caring and professional.
Jimmy is an excellent PT. He truly takes the time to learn about your problem, assess you, and prescribe stretches and exercises that are effective for a particular course of treatment. He is really thorough and considerate. Strongly advised
I am very appreciative of Jimmy’s dedication and expertise. I understand that recovery takes time and I am grateful for his patience and encouragement as I work towards my goals. He has helped me to understand my condition and develop a realistic plan for improvement. I am confident that with his continued support, I will make significant progress.
I cannot thank Alexa enough for the incredible care she provided while helping me rehab my rotator cuff. When I first came to her, I could hardly put on a jacket or button down a shirt without experiencing extreme pain. Alexa was incredibly gentle and took the time to understand my needs. She knew exactly what exercises and techniques to use to get me back to full strength. With her expertise, patience, and encouragement, I was able to regain my mobility and live pain-free again. I truly appreciate everything she has done for me—she gave me my life back. Highly recommend her to anyone in need of physical therapy!
I have been working with Casey on and off for a couple of years to address several different health and life issues …he is hands down the most skilled, knowledgeable and perceptive physical therapist I have ever collaborated with. He motivates me to be my best self. I am becoming competent and confident again after being derailed by surgeries and complications, not to mention the general aging process! To top it off, Casey is just an overall good human, a caring and kind man who has my best interests at heart. I whole heartedly respect and recommend Longevity PT for anyone that needs or wants to benefit from working with any of the talented staff here.
I will always recommend this place to have PT after surgery,My.. y therapist is the best His name is Jimmy ..in the beginning I am so reluctant to have Therapy on this place but having Jimmys encouragement and helping me to heal is the best thing I have done to my self…What a great person ..I love this place..
My therapist (Thomas) is the most well trained, knowledgeable, and competent therapist I've ever had. I recommend him unequivocally. He is attentive, flexible and thoughtful. I couldn't ask for more.
Longevity Physical Therapy is great! Jimmy programs great exercises and makes rehab fun. Would recommend!
I’m so tickled that I made great progress with Jimmy Vu as my therapistHe made sure I was able to get more mobility and strength
Jimmy has helped me tremendously improve my mobility in just a few visits.
Longevity Physical Therapy & Jimmy DPT are simply the best. Great location, great vibe, and knowledgeable staff. When my ENT recommended/prescribed vestibular therapy for dizziness & disequilibrium, I had no idea what to expect. The etiology of the symptoms I experienced could not be identified by imagining, lab work, or vision testing - which made me feel as though it was all in my head (ie crazy…). Come to find out, vestibular issues are a thing, and physical therapy can be tremendously helpful! Thank you, Jimmy - with your guidance and knowledge, I have improved so much & feel hopeful that I can have control over my vestibular issues
