Longevity Physical Therapy is pleased to announce that Casey Waller, PT, DPT, CAFS and San Diego Clinic Director has earned the prestigious distinction as a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) through the American Physical Therapy Association.
Earning this credential requires advanced skills, training, and years of orthopedic physical therapy experience. Fewer than 5% of physical therapists in the United States carry this honor. “We are super proud of Casey’s hard work as Clinic Director and his dedication to the physical therapy profession by earning this credential. He continually demonstrates his desire to be the best therapist to his patients, a leader to his team, and an educator to his students,” said Brett Bloom, Owner, of Longevity Physical Therapy.
In addition to leading a team of four doctors of physical therapy, Casey is an adjunct professor in the undergraduate kinesiology department at Point Loma Nazarene University.
Longevity Physical Therapy specializes in Applied Functional Science where therapists use training in functional biomechanics to assess and treat the root cause of pain and dysfunction and strive to enhance function and restore mobility. Unlike other clinics that use assistants in their treatment model, Longevity’s patients receive one-on-one physical therapy with a doctor of physical therapy during the entire treatment time.
Longevity Physical Therapy has been serving the San Diego County community since 2011 and currently has four locations in San Diego County – two in Carlsbad, one in San Diego, and one in San Marcos.
