I am originally a Bay Area native who moved to San Diego to get my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at San Diego State University, and enjoyed it so much I stayed to get my Doctorate in Physical Therapy. My first exposure to physical therapy was when I was a patient myself following multiple knee surgeries in high school. My admiration for the human body and the science of movement continued to grow throughout college and graduate school and brought me to this career today.
My passion is to educate people on how to rehabilitate and regain confidence with moving their bodies, and to empower them to be an active participant in their recovery. I am Level 1 certified in Pelvic Floor Function, and have discovered that I love treating women’s health conditions involving pelvic floor, peripartum, and postpartum populations. Topics surrounding pelvic health and maternal care are very important to me and I love educating others about this!
When I am not treating patients I enjoy being at the beach, hiking, camping, running, weightlifting, Pilates, and trying new restaurants around San Diego.
