I am from the Central Valley of California. As a rambunctious child, I was introduced to gymnastics and developed a love for dynamically expressing creative movement through the sport. This experience ignited a passion for all sports, and led me to enjoy exploring the capabilities of the human body in various ways. My love of sports led me to pursue a career in Physical Therapy. I completed my undergraduate degree with a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of California, Davis, and went on to earn a Master’s in Applied Movement Sciences and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy at San Diego State University. Through my clinical rotations, athletic background, and work with diverse populations, I chose Longevity at La Costa to deliver my expertise, with patient-centered goals focused on what I believe is most important for humans: movement.
I am an avid exerciser who loves movement a little too much. I enjoy a variety of activities including rock climbing, disc golfing, table tennis, gymnastics, running marathons, golfing, CrossFit, jumping rope, spikeball, and my latest obsession, basketball. My passion for movement allows me to explore other sports in the hope of connecting with my patients. I’m a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and I am dedicated to helping patients return to their baseline, if not surpass it.
