Born and raised in the small town of Soldotna, Alaska, I grew up immersed in sports, playing baseball, basketball, hockey, and football. With limited athletic opportunities after high school, I moved to Ontario, Oregon, to pursue my dream of playing baseball. Though my time there lasted just one year, it set the stage for my journey back to the Alaska Baseball League, where I was recruited to play at Southwestern College, a small junior college in Chula Vista, California.
With high hopes for my future, my baseball career took an unexpected turn when I suffered a season-ending injury, tearing my UCL. The long road of rehabbing from Tommy John surgery not only reignited my love for the game but also sparked a deep appreciation for the human body and the transformative power of rehabilitation. It was during this time that I discovered a potential calling beyond the baseball field.
Determined to return stronger, I poured my heart into my recovery. The following season, I emerged as one of the top pitchers in California at the junior college level, earning a scholarship to Point Loma Nazarene University. At Point Loma, I not only completed my baseball journey but also graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Health Sciences—a step that prepared me for my next chapter.
The impact of my rehab team and my own journey of overcoming adversity inspired me to pursue a career in physical therapy. I went on to earn my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine, solidifying my commitment to helping others achieve their full potential.
Today, I am passionate about sports, healthy living, and exercise, and I strive to connect with my patients on a deeper level by sharing my story of recovery and transformation. My mission is to inspire and empower others to push beyond their limits, both physically and mentally, as we work together to achieve their goals.
